Great American Love Stories

John and Jackie, a memorable presidential couple whose love for one another was profound and passionate. They will forever be remembered in the hearts and minds of the American people as a pair with strong values and love for their spouses and America.

"I love her [Jackie] deeply and have done everything for her. I've no feeling of letting her down because I've put her foremost in everything." - John Fitzgerald "Jack" Kennedy
Source: Sally Bedell Smith. Grace and Power: The Private World of the Kennedy White House. pg. 178.Both of the images above are vintage sixties prints of the Kennedys and they can be found in my Etsy Shop "Eco-Friendly Freckles".

Who doesn't adore a good love story?! You can read "Jacqueline Bouvier and John F. Kennedy's Love Story" here:

Another Great American Love Story that I am always "warm and fuzzy" and enchanted by is "Gone with the Wind". The alluring Scarlett O'Hara and dashing Rhett Butler are an absolutely ravishing couple in this classic American film full of passion! The image above is actually one of the vintage prints in my shop titled "Timeless Vintage 60's Gone with the Wind Paper Ephemera Print".

Vintage Provocative Prints!

I have two new vintage paper ephemera print ads in my shop; one is an advertisement for Kraft French Dressing and the other is for Cutex Cosmetics. Wouldn't the seductive red head above munching on salad with her red lips look spectacular in a retro 60's kitchen?!

Speaking of adding an elegant touch to a room in your home, I have done just that with one of the vintage prints I found in a 60's Ladies Home Journal magazine. Joe and I just purchased a pretty blue quilt set for our queen size bed in our bedroom and I we also have a blue painting on canvas of a beautiful ocean...so we are definitely going with a "blue" theme (which we both love this color)!Isn't this the PERFECT vintage print for our romantically blue bedroom?! I LOVE IT! A very lady-like woman wearing a flowing blue dress is sitting at a dining table with her handsome date who has a caring, concerned looking...I bet he is a real gentleman!

Vintage Paper Ephemera Prints and How I Beautifully Store Them!

I am now selling vintage paper ephemera prints and ads! I will be adding more to my "Eco-Friendly Freckles" shop soon! Above is a vintage Christmas Coca-Cola ad and below is one of my prints from a sixties Barbie magazine!
I purchased this lovely floral box for safely storing my vintage prints...and I love it! I got it at Ross, but I bet you can find some similar on Etsy!
When I was going through some of my vintage sixties magazines, I found a lovely image of a woman in her bathroom amongst all of her elegant perfume bottles in a vintage Better Homes and Garden's magazine...I love the colors in this image and the lady's sixties hairstyle! I love it so much that I framed it and now it is on display in my bathroom! You can find all of my vintage paper ephemera prints here in my Etsy Shop:
