Paulie's Confession

Paulie's Confession - Hand-Painted Pop Art Decoupage Decor

This pop art influenced hand-painted canister depicts a scene where the pieces of the puzzle are put together and the cheating husband gets caught red handed. A comic book-like illustration shows a suspicious wife looking at her livid husband, as the wife in a retro yellow dress points at a hot pink bra she found that does not belong to her. The words "Woman" and "Sex" are the two shocking words that take over her thoughts. However, it is not until the family pet, a parrot named Paulie, makes a confession that reveals the wicked truth. Thus a turbulent fight takes places as the man's shaving brush and a vase of flowers fly through the air. In a fit of rage, the husband punches the honest parrot with the significant message of "Speak the Truth" and the wife vacates the premises with luggage and all.

You can display this eye-catching piece as a candle votive, pen or pencil holder, trinket container, or as a stunning work of art. This also makes a great gift for holding baked goods, candies, soaps, bath salts, teas, etc. Also in my shop are some beautiful "cello" bags made of 1.2 mil crystal clear polypropylene that are decorated in elegant white lace and are used as candy bags, food bags, soap bags, or for any small item. These are great for using in this size tin when giving as a gift to contain other presents.

The eco-friendly recycled materials used in this item are: a tin can, magazine clippings, recycled paper, and yogi tea tags. This piece measures 5 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches wide. The interior of this tin is painted a lovely deep red.
